About Chattenden
Chattenden is a small village located in the Medway Borough of South East England, United Kingdom. It is situated between Rochester and Strood, and is home to a number of military installations, including a Royal School of Military Engineering, a Royal Engineers Museum and a barracks. The village boasts a number of local amenities, including a post office, a convenience store, and several pubs. Its close proximity to both the River Medway and the North Kent Marshes make it an ideal location for outdoor pursuits, such as hiking, cycling and bird-watching, whilst its easy access to Rochester and London mean that all the cultural and commercial delights of the city are never too far away.
